Ondaland in Vicolungo will reopen its gates from Saturday, May 30 through Tuesday, June 2, before launching its full daily operating season from Saturday, June 6. The reopening marks what the park describes as a major innovation for the European water park industry during its 21st season since opening in June 2005.

For four weeks, Ondaland Water Park in Vicolungo was closed to the public, with access restricted exclusively to authorized personnel. During that time, the park’s spectacular water attractions served as the filming location for Red Carpet – Vip al Tappeto, the comedy reality show hosted by Alessia Marcuzzi and featuring commentary by Marco Santin and Giorgio Gherarducci of the irreverent Gialappa’s Band.

Summer has arrived early at Ondaland, Italy’s largest water park, which opened its gates yesterday in Vicolungo for the holiday weekend through today. Guests can enjoy a combination of water attractions, live entertainment, and special offers every day from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (weather permitting) from June 7 through September 7. “There are plenty of new features this season,” explains Managing Director Daniele Vailati.

Ondaland, Italy’s largest water park, officially opened its season on Saturday, ten days later than planned. “The heavy rainfall over the past few weeks forced us to postpone the opening,” explain owners and managing directors Daniele Vailati and Roberto Marra. “In 2023, the season began on May 20.” The extensive redevelopment and introduction of several new attractions are expected to play a key role in attracting visitors.
