Summer Starts Early at Ondaland with Water Attractions and Spectacular Live Shows

Summer has arrived early at Ondaland, Italy’s largest water park, which opened its gates yesterday in Vicolungo for the holiday weekend through today. Guests can enjoy a combination of water attractions, live entertainment, and special offers every day from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (weather permitting) from June 7 through September 7. “There are plenty of new features this season,” explains Managing Director Daniele Vailati.
“We have launched an Express Line through our online portal, shop.ondaland.it, allowing guests to purchase admission tickets in advance and avoid queues at the ticket office.”

Aerial Shows Above the Wave Pool

The park’s iconic giant wave pool will once again serve as the stage for spectacular aerial performances.
“Our impressive hot-air balloon will take off accompanied by light shows, music and breathtaking acrobatic performances,” says Vailati.
A major new addition for 2025 is the introduction of Sway Poles—flexible poles more than five metres high that bend dramatically, allowing performers to create spectacular routines just above the water.
Ondaland’s live productions were recognised at the Parksmania Meeting 2024, receiving an award for delivering a level of technical innovation unique in Italy.

Building on Award-Winning Entertainment

Vailati makes no secret of the park’s ambitions.
“Our goal for the 2025 season is to repeat the success and recognition we achieved last year.”
This year’s entertainment programme includes the new Elements Show, consisting of four performances inspired by the natural elements:

• Earth
• Fire
• Air
• Water

The productions combine immersive scenery, multisensory effects, and high-impact visual performances.

Families can also enjoy a new production of The Little Mermaid, staged in the Pirate Lagoon beside the park’s pirate ship.
The ever-popular Foam Party also returns. “It represents the ultimate summer event,” says Vailati.

“This year it will be expanded and made even more unforgettable, with foam effects surrounding guests throughout the celebration.”

Attractions for Children and Families

The admission ticket, with its price held at €28, includes unlimited access to the park’s signature thrill slides, including:

• Kamikaze
• Dual Loop
• Blade Runner

The Kids Area features one of Italy’s largest children’s lagoons, while the relaxation zones offer whirlpools and shaded green spaces.

Beginning June 7, guests will also be able to visit the new Shop & Games area, covering more than 250 square metres, featuring discounted shopping opportunities alongside new interactive entertainment.

Stay Longer at Vicolungo Glamour Lodge & Spa
